Donor Stars and Donor Functions: If you donate online by credit card or e-check, you should have access to donor functions immediately after you donate, and there will be a small star on your posts next to your forum username to indicate that you are a DU donor. If you do not get a star, please send an email to skinner@democraticunderground.com to let us know. (Remember to include your forum username.) Access to donor functions lasts for one year after your most recent donation.

Donations Are Not Tax Deductible: Due to the highly political nature of Democratic Underground, we cannot qualify as a non-profit organization. Therefore, donations to Democratic Underground, LLC, are not tax deductible.

Donating does not guarantee access to any part of the Democratic Underground website. Donors may request a refund for any reason within 90 days of the date the donation was made. After 90 days, refunds will be granted at the discretion of the DU Administrators.
